Food Pantry brings back community meals starting Oct. 2
The Saukville Community Food Pantry is bringing back its community meal beginning Saturday, Oct. 2.
Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parkside Community Church in Saukville.
The meal will be hosted by St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton.
The menu includes lasagna, salad, fruit, garlic bread, cookies and bars.
There will be table service rather than a buffet, and disposable plates and utensils will be used.
Those attending are encouraged to be vaccinated, and those who are ill are asked not to attend. A take-out option will be available.
Those attending are asked to wear masks when they are not eating. There will be socially distanced seating, although families and those who live together may sit together.
Future meals will be held on Oct. 16 and 30, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11. Plans are being made for a Thanksgiving and a holiday meal, but the dates have not been set.
The church is at 166 Dekora St.
