A fond farewell for longtime educators

Classes are wrapping up this week as are the careers of some Port Washington-Saukville School District educators who were the guests of honor at a recent Honoring the Crew retirement banquet at Port Washington High School. Among those who were recognized for their service to the district were (front row, from left) fifth-grade teacher Barbara Papamarcos, Thomas Jefferson Middle School Assistant Principal Jodi Swagel, middle school special education teacher Joanne LaJoice, Lincoln Elementary School Principal Jane Gennerman, (back row) high school special education teacher Paul Scharnweber, student services administrative assistant Kris Hess and high school business teacher Mark Bichler.
