Floyd E. Peters Jr.

Floyd E. Peters Jr. of Port Washington passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at the age of 80.
He was born in Milwaukee to Floyd Sr. and Lydia (nee Baker) Peters on Sept. 7, 1939. He married the love of his life Ann Rose on April 11, 1959, and together they had four children.
Floyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He retired from Harley-Davidson after 30 years of dedicated service.
Floyd loved spending time with his family. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed gambling and jigsaw puzzles and will always be remembered for being a great cook.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Floyd is survived by his wife Ann Peters of 60 years; his children Sabrina Prinsen, Mike (Kim) Peters, Eric “Rick” Peters and Cindy (Mark) Zoellner; and sister-in-law Karen (Mose) Waldner.
He is further survived by eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, mother-in-law Lenore Radtke, daughter-in-law Ann K. Peters and grandson Josh Coslett.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, WI 53074.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m.
Eernisse Funeral Home of Port Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
