Fisherman’s club to meet Feb. 11 in Saukville

The Ozaukee County Chapter of the Great Lakes Sports Fisherman’s Club will meet at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Shaker’s Pub in Saukville.

The guest speaker will be JJ Wood from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, who will discuss topics related to the Great Lakes.

Smoked salmon will be provided to snack on during the meeting, and a monthly meat raffle and fishing tackle raffle will be held.

Tickets for the club’s kickoff party will be on sale for $25 each. The party will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at the Landt-Thiel American Legion Post 470 in Saukville. Only 200 tickets will be sold. Tickets purchased before March 8 will be entered into a gun raffle. The event includes a buffet-style dinner and dessert. A cash bar will be open for refreshments.
