Fire Department holds open house
The Belgium Fire Department held an open house at Buechler Farms in conjunction with the business’ fall festival last Saturday. In the top left photo, Riley Graham, 4, posed as a firefighter while Ryder Schultz, 7, watched.
Caedyn Kehoe was all smiles when he picked out a pumpkin.
Andy Olsen lit a stove on fire for a demonstration.
Tyler Morgan, 9, put out a fire with help from Bob Makoutz. The event was moved to Buechler Farms from the firehouse this year to avoid holding two family events on the same day and to increase attendance, First Assistant Chief Pat Wester said. “There were definitely more people than having it at a firehouse,” he said.
