The Village of Fredonia’s Finance Committee will take the first step toward arriving at a 2019 budget when it meets at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Fredonia Government Center.

Village Clerk Sandi Tretow will present to the committee budget requests from village department heads and committees. As of Tuesday, Tretow had not completed that process.

The Finance Committee is expected Thursday to arrive at a proposed budget to present to the Village Board when it meets on Thursday, Oct. 4.

A public hearing on the budget is scheduled to be held on Nov. 1 before the final budget is approved.
