Film on bank swallows to be shown Sept. 17
“Beyond Our Senses: Bank Swallows,” a 28-minute film that follows bank swallows nesting along Lake Michigan, will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17.
The showing will be at the Mequon Nature Preserve and be preceded by a 6 p.m. guided bird walk.
The film explores the ways bank swallows experience the world, and after the screening Wisconsin filmmaker David Busse will share what happened during the years he spent making the movie and what happened behind the scenes.
The event is free, but a donation of $20 is suggested.

The event is hosted by the Lake Michigan Bird Observatory and Mequon Nature Preserve in partnership with Wisconsin Society for Ornithology.
