Fence firm gets permit to operate in business park
Village of Saukville officials have granted a conditional-use permit to a fencing company to set up shop in the Dekora Woods Business Park.
The permit allows Dave DeZutel, owner of A-1 Fence Company, to store equipment and inventory in the rear and side yards of 740 N. Dekora Woods Blvd. as long as the area is completely screened from public view by a solid fence or landscaping.
DeZutel’s proposal included an eight-foot-high cedar fence to screen the storage site.
Six to eight vehicles, a trash receptacle and three trailers will be parked on site. A building will be used for offices, according to documents submitted to the village.
A-1 Fence Company Inc. has operated since the 1970s. According to documents, 14 employees will be employed at the site.
