February activities at Port library announced

    February activities for adults and teens at the Niederkorn Library in Port Washington have been announced.
    A Grief Support Group will meet in the community room from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2.
    The group is open to anyone experiencing grief and is facilitated by Colson Leach, bereavement coordinator with Compassus Hospice.
    “Cry Macho,” a Warner Bros. Pictures film, will be shown from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Feb. 7 during the Monday Night Movie at the library.
    Popcorn will be served in the community room during the movie.
    “Hospice 101” is the topic for a 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 program.
    The discussion, presented by Compassus Hospice, will answer questions about hospice, including the goals of the service and common misconceptions associated with placement in hospice care.
    “Animal Dreams” by Barbara Kingsolver will be the topic for the 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, book talk group sponsored by the Port Washington Senior Center.
    The group meets in the quiet room at the library.
    Copies of the book are available at the front desk of the library.
    “The Water Dancer” by Ta-Nehisi Coates is the topic for the library’s book talk group, which will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 21.
    The February meeting will be facilitated by group members.

    The Teen Café for students in grades seven through 12 will meet from 2:45 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the community room. Games and snacks are among the activities.
