Fast-paced family fun rolls through Grafton

Families seeking fast-paced attractions had a field day in downtown Grafton on Saturday, June 23. The occasion was the 12th annual Giro d’ Grafton, during which hundreds of bicyclists vied for honors in races on a .85-mile criterium that began and ended at the intersection of Beech Street and Wisconsin Avenue (top photo). In addition to the showcased competition, the festivities included a variety of attractions such as Big Wheel races for children (bottom photo), live music, a beer garden and an open house at the fire station. Elena Ranas (second from the top) received plenty of support as she got ready to display her pedal power. Photos by Sam Arendt
