Family Fun Fall Fest to be held Sept. 26

The Family Fun Fall Fest at the Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82 in Port Washington will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26.

The event includes free children’s arts and crafts and tattoos inside the Legion hall at 435 N Lake St.

Outside, there will be a scarecrow-making contest beginning at 11 a.m.

Those attending are asked to bring their own clothes and accessories for the scarecrows. 

There is a $1 fee for the straw.

Prizes will be awarded at 1 p.m.

Pumpkin decorating for children ages 6 and younger will begin at 1:15 p.m. There is a $1 fee for each pumpkin.

Prizes from Cedarburg Toy Co. will be awarded at 2:15 p.m.

Oktoberfest will follow the family festival and feature polka bands and dancing. 

Draught beer and bratwurst and sauerkraut will be available for purchase.
