Exhibit honors quilt museum anniversary
“Slow Light” is the newest exhibit at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts in Cedarburg.
The exhibit, which opens June 6 and runs through Aug. 16, commemorates the museum’s 15th anniversary.
It is intended to invite reflection on the importance of the museum’s setting within a historic barn.
Featuring works by contemporary fiber artists from across the United States, the exhibit explores how fiber art can illuminate our understanding of surrounding architectural spaces.
The museum is at N50 W5050 Portland Rd.
It is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
