Emptying bowls to feed the hungry

November 04, 2026

Careful not to spill on the Milwaukee Brewers shirt she wore with pride just days after the team’s World Series win last week, Becki Schimpf (lower photo) balanced a tray full of soups during Family Sharing’s 15th annual Empty Bowls lunch at Grafton High School on Friday, Oct. 30. The event, which features soups made by area restaurants, is the Grafton organization’s largest fundraiser and benefits its food pantry and the other services it provides.  Photos by Sam Arendt
