Elsa A. Egerer

Elsa A. Egerer, 95, of Cedarburg, formerly of Grafton, died at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton on May 19.  

Mrs. Egerer was born on the family farm in Saukville, on Feb. 14, 1923, to Fred and Anna Wilkens Beimborn.  

On Dec. 21, 1946, she married Edgar Egerer at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Newburg.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Port Washington, where she served in the Ladies Aid Group. She later became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton.  

Mrs. Egerer worked at Ozaukee Press as a proofreader, a secretary at Grob Inc. in Grafton, and was an office manager at Egerer Excavating.  

According to her family, she loved gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, traveling, playing cards, putting puzzles together and watching numerous game shows “Wheel of Fortune” was her favorite.

Mrs. Egerer is survived by her children Wendy Park of Texas, Dale (Bonnie) of Fredonia and Lori (Dale) Moeller of Cedarburg; son-in-law Dennis Dickmann of Texas; grandchildren Darcy (Richard) Tramm, Becky (Dave) Godell, Denise (James) Cork, Derick (Mary) Dickmann, Kathryn Park, Tina (Sam) Moershel, Mindy (Doug) Miller, Matthew (special friend Samantha) Egerer, Madeline Moeller, Mitchell Moeller and Margeaux Moeller; and 12 great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar, daughter Faye Dickmann, and grandchildren Christopher and Angel Egerer.

Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, or a charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.  

Mueller Funeral Home, Cedarburg, handled the arrangements.
