Ellen C. Mueller

Ellen C. Mueller passed away on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Ellen was 97 years old.

Ellen was born in Milwaukee on July 10, 1928, the daughter of William and Elsie (nee Koslosky) Goldberg. 

She was a 1946 graduate of Port Washington High School and married Joseph A. Mueller on Sept. 13, 1947, in Port Washington. 

He preceded her in death in 1999.

While a longtime resident of Port Washington, Ellen worked in the offices of J.E. Gilson Co., Simplicity Manufacturing Co., her husband’s business Port Standard Service, J.J. Morgan and Sharbuno Jewelers.

She was also involved in the local Port Washington blood drive for many years.

After retiring with her husband to Rio Rancho, N.M., in 1992, she continued to work in retail and volunteer in civic organizations.

Ellen is survived by her daughter Kristine (Jean) Jaureguiberry and son Joseph Mueller. She is further survived by her beloved grandchildren Lora (Tom) Didier, Brad (Karl Letsche) Mueller, Josef (Robin) Jaureguiberry and Alex Jaureguiberry and great-grandchildren Owen (Bridget) Didier, Georgia Didier and Christian Jaureguiberry

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marion Ballo and Edith O’Connor, and beloved daughter-in-law Beverly Mueller.

A private, family-only service is planned.
