Elizabeth R. Wilson

Elizabeth R. Wilson “was pretty and smart and a lot of fun,” her mother Deborah Hein-Wilson said.

“She liked animals of any type. She helped me in my garden.”

Miss Wilson would use the vegetables to make the salads she enjoyed, her mother said.

When she was younger, Miss Wilson enjoyed the outdoors, especially trips to Canada, where her maternal grandfather lived.

“She liked going fishing there,” her mother said. “She used to go hunting with us too.

“She was quite the pistol.”

Miss Wilson died in Milwaukee on Wednesday, June 13. She was 29.

A native of Fredonia, she was born on July 1, 1988, to Kurt Wilson and Deborah Hein-Wilson.

She graduated from Ozaukee High School and then attended school in Florida for a time before returning to Fredonia.

Miss Wilson is survived by her parents, Kurt Wilson and Deborah Hein-Wilson of Fredonia; sons Damian of Fredonia and Kaleb of Florida; sisters Jessica Moore of Pennsylvania and Michelle Christensen of Florida; and grandmother Edith Flood of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Harold Hein, Loraine Werner and Bill Wilson.

A memorial service for Miss Wilson will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. The Rev. Linda Westphal-Buth will officiate.
