Douglas L. Lemmer Jr.

Doug “Dougie” Lemmer of Milwaukee, formerly of Port Washington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 17, 2024. He was 34 years old.
Douglas was born in Milwaukee on Sept. 11, 1990, to Douglas Lemmer and Christina Schaffer.
He moved with his father to Port Washington as a child and attended local schools, graduating from Port Washington High School in 2009.
Following school, Doug went into the roofing industry and became a roofing specialist with AD Roofing.
Dougie was passionate about music. He loved “aggressive blading,” a style of rollerblading often seen at local skateparks. Doug liked fishing throughout his life and was a big Green Bay Packers fan.
As one of many siblings, he loved to hang out with his family and loved bringing laughter to any gathering. He was a genuine good person, a huge goofball and a loving son, brother, nephew and cousin who was always up for shenanigans.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father Doug Lemmer Sr. of Milwaukee, mom Dana Lemmer of Port Washington and siblings Ashley (Brandon) Becker of Cedar Grove, Andrew Schaffer of Port Washington, Tabitha Schaffer of Milwaukee, Brent Saunders of Port Washington and Brittany (Sean) Arendt of Saukville.
Dougie is further survived by seven nieces and nephews, Carson, Joseph, Walter, Merienne, Eloise, Olivia and Oliver, grandmother Peg Husting of Grafton, uncle Kenneth (Carrie) Lemmer of Greenfield, aunt Mariah (Anthony “Bud”) Elm of Milwaukee, many cousins, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandmother Judith Lemmer.
The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg, 1167 Washington Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, 2024.
Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com.
May you be at peace, and continue shredding all the skateparks to your hearts content.
