Douglas J. Morris

Nov. 28, 1937 – Jan. 4, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas J. Morris, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and son who left us on Jan. 4 at the age of 87.

Doug was born on Nov. 28, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Howard and Alice (nee Dozark) Morris.

He graduated from St. John’s Cathedral High School with the Class of 1956.

He served in the Army National Guard for eight years.

He worked for Falk Corp. for more than 50 years and retired as an application engineer in the coupling group.

Doug married Carol Bottoni on July 31, 1965, at Mother of Good Counsel Church in Milwaukee, Wis. Carol preceded him in death in 2005.

Doug and Carol moved to Cedarburg, Wis., in 1976 and to Grafton, Wis., in 2002.

Douglas is survived by two sons, Michael (Mary) Morris and Scott (Shelly) Morris; five grandchildren, Jacob, Benjamin, Joshua, Katelyn and Lauren; sisters Mary Stanke and Karen Morris-Cetin; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife Carol and sisters Alice and Barbara.   

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, 979 N. Green Bay Rd., Grafton, Wis.  The Rev. John Norquist will officiate.

Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton immediately following the service.

Visitation will be held on Saturday from noon to 1:15 p.m.
