Donna L. Howarth

Donna L. Howarth passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, after a 15-year courageous battle with scleroderma. She was 58 years old.
Donna was born Feb. 5, 1967, in Cedarburg, Wis., to Paul and Sandra (Jerschefske) Demler.
She graduated from Cedarburg High School with the Class of 1985.
Donna’s mother Sandra passed away at a young age and her second mom, Laurel Demler, raised her with her dad.
On Oct. 20, 1990, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Mike Howarth, at St. Mary’s Church in Port Washington. They raised two children together and spent more than 35 years together.
She was a co-owner and office manager of 5 Corners Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram for 25 years.
Donna made many children’s dreams come true as a key fundraiser and leader in the creation of All My Friends Playground, an all-abilities playground in Grafton. She worked tirelessly to make that dream a reality for many area special needs children with her friend Dianne Helmer.
When Donna wasn’t volunteering, you could find her and her husband traveling with their camper or on a tropical vacation enjoying the sun and warmth. When her children were younger, they took many family trips across the United States. They traveled out West and to Washington, D.C., and had many other vacations to create new memories.
During the holidays, she was known for her very famous Christmas cookies. If it wasn’t Christmastime, she was still an extreme baker, finding ways to make every event special with a little treat.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Mike, her children Jason Howarth and Sandra (Bill) Ostovich, her father Paul (Mary) Demler, and her siblings Nicole (Matt) Stalter, Robert (Tracy) Demler and Mark (Mary) Demler, along with nieces and nephews she loved dearly. She also leaves behind other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Froedtert Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for all the care and compassion they have shown Donna and Mike over the last 15 years.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg. The family will greet friends and family at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Donna to All My Friends Inc.
Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg is proudly assisting the Howarth family.
