Dolores Luisier

Dolores M. Luisier (nee Schwalbe), 90, of Saukville, Wis., passed away peacefully at Aurora Hospital in Grafton.

Dolores was given by God on Jan. 11, 1932, and given to God on Jan. 3, 2023.

Dolores was born in Collins, Wis., and grew up in Manitowoc.

She was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Irvin Luisier, on April 11, 1953.

They moved to Saukville shortly thereafter. Their marriage was blessed with three children and two grandchildren.

For almost 70 years they rarely spent a day apart. They built a home, tended to their yard and garden and raised their family. After retirement, they enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Florida.

She enjoyed baking, and there was never a Christmas that went by that wasn’t celebrated with a large tray of cookies. Her daughters have lovingly continued the tradition.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Irvin, and her daughters Debbie Luisier and Deann (Ken) Kaiser, both of Saukville, and her special grandchildren, Nicholas  Kaiser and his girlfriend Elizabeth, and Amanda Kaiser and her boyfriend Johl.

She is also survived by one brother, Leon Schwalbe of Sun City, Ariz., and her “adopted” family of LeeAnne and Dave Wilde along with their children and grandchildren.

Finally, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Dennis, her two brothers Kenneth and Eugene and sisters-in-law Pat, Helen and Virginia.

A funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 217 N. Freeman Dr., Port Washington, WI 53074. The Rev. Dustin Anderson will preside.

The family will receive visitors at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.

Dolores will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Saukville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington, Wis.
