Detour to start Thursday

Work on the railroad tracks is set to start on Thursday in the Village of Belgium’s Main Street reconstruction project.

Director of Public Works Dan Birenbaum said traffic will have to detour from Park to Chestnut during that time. The road is expected to reopen on Friday, he said.
