Dennis Luisier

    Dennis L. Luisier, 65 of Saukville, Wis., passed away peacefully at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee. Dennis was given by God on June 18, 1955, and given to God on Sept. 8, 2020.  
    Dennis was born in Port Washington, Wis., and lived in Saukville his entire life.  
    He graduated from Port Washington High School and continued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Washington County.  
    He worked at Leeson Electric and Exacto Spring before retiring.  
    He was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington. He served on numerous boards and committees at the church and was also a member of Saukville’s Planning Commission.
    In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, cooking and a chit-chat on his driveway.  He was an avid collector of all things Mickey Mouse and was fortunate to travel to Disney World on countless occasions.  
    Dennis is survived by his parents Irvin and Dolores (Schwalbe) Luisier of Saukville; sisters Debbie Luisier of Saukville and Deann (Ken) Kaiser of Saukville; special nephew Nicholas Kaiser; and special niece Amanda Kaiser. He is also survived by his uncle Leon Schwalbe of Phoenix, many cousins and friends.
    He celebrates in heaven with his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who were waiting there for him.
    A funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 217 N. Freeman Dr., Port Washington, WI  53074, with the Rev. John E. Klieve presiding.  
    Dennis was laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Saukville, Wis.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Port Washington, Wis.
