She was born on Feb. 28, 1941, to her late parents Vearle E. Durbin and Jesse Durbin-Wittke in Rhinelander, Wis.

At the age of 17, she got married to her late husband, Albert Buelow, on Oct. 18, 1958. Together they raised three wonderful children, Greg, Vickie and Kevin.

In 1971, Al and Deanna set out on an adventure to lease a tavern called the Hutch, and as their lease came to an end, they decided to buy another tavern down the road. The Bridge Inn was established in 1976 and was a second home to many, where Deanna developed many friendships and considered her patrons to be extended family.

In 2009, Deanna moved to Townsend, Wis., where she moved to her forever home.

Deanna was a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was a member of the Rose-Harms American Legion Auxiliary.

Deanna enjoyed many activities such as bowling, playing bingo, decorating for all holidays at the tavern and cooking. She was famous for her tacos and chicken soup.

When Deanna retired and moved to Townsend, she enjoyed her time watching the deer and turkeys come through the yard and the occasional black bear. She was an animal lover and had several dogs as pets. Her late dog Lexi was her joy and companion.

Deanna is survived by her two children, Greg (Petra) and Kevin (Gail); five grandchildren, Joshua (Dominique), Tiffanie (Jason), Matthew, Travis (Stephanie) and Austin (Anna); her sister Valerie; and great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, a son-in-law, family members and friends.
