Daniel Nagel

 

Daniel J. Nagel, age 64, of Milwaukee, Wis., passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1956, in Milwaukee, the son of ElRoy and Ann Marie Zinner Nagel.

 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at Poole Funeral Home/Crematory, 203 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington.

 The Rev. Patrick Wendt of St. John XXIII Parish will officiate.  

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to services.  

Interment will be at Newbold Cemetery, Lake Tomahawk, Wis.

Dan is survived by his sisters Theresa (Paul) Kamikawa of Winneconne, formerly of Port Washington, Katherine (the late Alan) Nagel of Irving, Texas, and Linda (the late John) Riccio of Carmel, Ind.; nieces and nephews P. Tyson (Kristine), Keith, Peter and David (Heather) Kamikawa, Jacqueline (Dan) Hintze, and Claire and Matthew (Brianna) Parish; grandnieces and grandnephews Isabelle, Isaac and Lily Kamikawa, Austin and Aiden Cota, Jase and Jackson Hintze, Haley Gazdzicki, Madison Nagel, Dante Marshall, and Lily and Wyatt Parish, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded by his father ElRoy and his wife Roberta Ann (nee Grahl), his mother Ann Marie, sister Mary Parish and brother John Nagel.

Thank you for the care in the Transplant Intensive Care Unit of Froedert Hospital and the quick and helpful presence of Heartland Healthcare and Hospice.

Our grateful thanks for the years of family care and love from Rooms-R-Us Adult Family Home, LLC, especially his good friend and nurse El Beauty Simpson.

Also, our special thanks to the Wauwatosa Special Olympics who guided Dan through all of the different sports through the years.  Dan especially loved bowling, but enjoyed the company of all the coaches, especially Mr. Hass and players.
