Dale Fischer

Mr. Dale Fischer of the Town of Saukville passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 75 years old.

  Dale was born in Milwaukee on March 5, 1949, the son of Earl and Esther Fink Fischer.

He attended local schools and graduated from Custer High School.

  On May 2, 1981, Dale was united in marriage with Judy Bishop at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Milwaukee.

The couple moved to the Saukville area in the 1990s and raised their family of three children.

  Mr. Fischer was a sales representative for Precision Service and Parts for more than 20 years. He later helped at Away We Go in Port Washington as a transport specialist.

  Dale was a member of the Saukville Fire Department with over 25 years of service before he retired.

He enjoyed boating up north with his family, deer hunting and riding his motorcycle.

In his younger days, Dale was a member of the local band Chuck Travis and the Do-Wa-Wa, where he played drums and sang. He continued singing throughout his life and enjoyed karaoke.

  Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 43 years, Judy, of the Town of Saukville, sons Scott (Wendy Block), John (Stephanie) and Steven (Kristin) Fischer and five grandchildren, Kennan, Connor, Paige, Axl and Walker.

Dale is further survived by sisters Shaira “Sherry” Hanif and Dianne (Bob) Koca, brother Dennis (Cindy) Fischer, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Nicole Fischer and parents Earl and Esther.

  A Liturgy of the Word service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2024, at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, 145 Church St., Saukville. Deacon Mike Burch will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m.

  Dale will be laid to rest beside his daughter in St. Joseph Cemetery, Grafton, the following day.

  Memorials are suggested to the Nicole Marie Fischer Scholarship Fund at Port Washington High School or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
