Crossroads Rendezvous returns to Saukville

After a 12-year hiatus, the Saukville Crossroads Rendezvous returned to Peninsula Park last weekend. The Crossroads Rendezvous is a historical re-enactment sponsored by the Saukville Historical Society that focuses on Wisconsin’s fur trade era from 1750 to 1840. Brody Schicker (above), with musket in hand, stood in line with other youngsters. Karen Hartman (top right) showed off early utensils used during the fur trade era. Will, 7, and Hannah, 5, Dahmen of Port Washington (bottom right) enjoyed lunch during the event. Photos by Sam Arendt
