Crossroads Rendezvous to return May 18 to 20
After a 12-year hiatus, the Saukville Crossroads Rendezvous is returning to Peninsula Park from Friday through Saturday, May 18 to 20.
The Crossroads Rendezvous is a historical re-enactment sponsored by the Saukville Historical Society. It focuses on Wisconsin’s fur trade era from 1750 to 1840.
Visitors can expect to speak with and observe re-enactors representing voyagers, tradesmen, blacksmiths, weavers and military groups from the French and Indian War, American Revolution and War of 1812.
The event will start with a school day on Friday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Saturday, it will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students, $4 for veterans and people 65 and older, $2 for those 18 and younger, and children under $2 can attend for free.
