Conservation camp scholarships available

Ozaukee County is offering scholarships for two students to attend a conservation camp this summer.

The camp will provide an opportunity for youths to participate in hands-on activities, practice social and leadership skills and enjoy the outdoors while being educated on topics such as wildlife, habitat, water quality and fisheries.

Students must write a one-page essay explaining why they want to go to  the camp and email it to skempen@ozaukeecounty.gov.

The deadline for applications is May 5.
