Community meal to be held in Saukville Oct. 30

    The Saukville Community Food Pantry will hold a community meal on Saturday, Oct. 30  
    Meals will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parkside Community Church in Saukville.
    The meal will be hosted by the Mulberry Avenue neighborhood in Cedarburg.
    The menu includes smoked pulled pork, potatoes, vegetables and dessert.    
    There will be table service rather than a buffet, and disposable plates and utensils will be used.
    Those attending are encouraged to be vaccinated, and those who are ill are asked not to attend.

    Those attending are asked to wear masks when they are not eating. There will be socially distanced seating, although families and those who live together may sit together.  
    Future meals will be held on Nov. 13 and Dec. 11. Plans are being made for Thanksgiving and holiday meals, but the dates have not been set.  
    The church is at 166 Dekora St.
