Club brings together hunters and their trophies for a good cause

A wall full of deer mounts caught the attention of (from left in photo above) Cayden Unger, Dane and Colter Zimdars and Easton Braby during the Random Lake Rod and Gun Club’s 13th annual Deer Classic held in the Town of Belgium on Saturday, March 18. Stan Zirbel (left), an official measurer, scored a deer rack that was brought to the event. Collin Wilcox and Cody Pierron (from left in photo at far left) also brought deer, while Isaac Welton came with an antelope. Proceeds from the event, which included a raffle, are used by the club to pay for outdoor adventures for children and veterans with life threatening illnesses or disabilities.      Photos by Sam Arendt
