Church kicks in to help Food Alliance

A $2,000 donation to the Ozaukee Food Alliance was made by St. Simon the Fisherman Episcopal Church in Port Washington through a grant from the Episcopalian Diocese last week. The funds will be used for pallets the food pantry needs for its freezer and refrigerator and a battery for its truck. Food Alliance Executive Director Andrea Acosta (front) accepted the donation from (back row, from left) St. Simon’s Treasurer Tiffany Kindschy, Junior Warden James Cornelius and the Rev. Mary Limbach, while Food Alliance Outreach Director Katie Draeger was also on hand to accept the gift.          Photo by Sam Arendt
