Cheers to a scenic run, cold beer and a good cause

Toasting another successful Land Regatta run and walk, as well as a beer garden in Port Washington’s Upper Lake Park Saturday, were (top photo, from left) Bill Nicloud, Chad Anhald, Stina Bretl, Tim and Nikki Setzer, Jeff Williams, Gabi Ansay and Christina Brickner. The fifth annual event, which is organized by Be3, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and promoting health, fitness and philanthropy, featured a 5K run and 2-mile run and walk followed by fun and games at the beer garden. That is where young Winston Oreskovic got a close look at Brad Stern’s electric guitar (above left photo). Proceeds from the event will benefit an effort to reroute a section of the Ozaukee Interurban Trail in Port Washington.                                                                                                                                                                         Photos by Sam Arendt
