Chamber gears up for busy April

The Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce has a few events on tap during the next several weeks.

The Chamber and Cedar Grove-Belgium School District are holding the annual career and job fair from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10. Setup is at 8 a.m.

• The annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. at Heritage Park.

It is free and open to children 10 and younger. Children are to bring their own baskets and be ready to find eggs with treats and prizes.

Pictures with the Easter bunny will be available.

Hunts will be done by age group: birth to 3, 4 to 7 and 8 to 10.

• The annual Brew and Chew will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, April, 26, at Buechler Farms.

Doors open for advanced ticket holders at 5:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $40. Tickets, if the event isn’t sold out, will be available at the door at 6 p.m. for $45.

Attendees may sample food and drinks from area businesses, participate in raffles and hear live music from Windy Hope.
