Chalk the Walk contest decided by just one vote
Winners of the inaugural Chalk the Walk contest held by the Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce during Belgium’s annual rummage sale have been announced.
Valerie Holman and her children, Analeigh, 7, and three-year-olds Jaxson and Maxwell Holman took first by one vote with their drawing of a family, flowers and rainbow with a “Welcome to Belgium” message. They received four tickets to the Kick The Dust Up Rodeo at Buechler Farms on June 16.
Tracy Topp took second place with her drawing of Spider-Man swinging through the air over a beach scene.
The tight voting caused the Chamber to donate two rodeo tickets for second place.
