Cesar "Rudy" Ruiz

Cesar "Rudy" Ruiz of Grafton went to his Heavenly Father on July 3, 2018, at the young age of 56 years.

He was born May 1, 1962, in Eagle Pass, Texas, to Emma (nee Castijellos) and the late Gregorio Ruiz.

As a young boy of 2, his family moved from Mexico to Cedarburg, where he went to Westlawn Elementary, Webster Middle and Cedarburg High schools. He later attended MATC for landscaping

Rudy loved to do a mean jig, play harmonica, shoot pool and make people laugh. He always had a joke or two to tell, but most of all he loved to go fishing.

He is survived by his mother Emma and five siblings, Elsa, Jorge (Karen), Nora, Alex and Nancy (Steve), along with 11 nieces and nephews, Fabiana, Claudia, Shalina, Esteban, Saharah, Izabela, Joseph, Jacob, Mark, Nathan and Aron, and eight great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was loved by all who knew him.

In addition to his father Gregorio, he was preceded in death by his sister Almarosita.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, at the American Legion Hall in Grafton. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m.
