Caroline (Clausen) Staaben

Caroline Johanna (Clausen) Staaben was born in Sheboygan, Wis., on May 18, 1942.

Caroline was one of seven children born to Dena (Clausen) De Blaey and Arthur Clausen. Caroline grew up in Cedar Grove, Wis.

She married Michael Staaben on Sept. 16, 1961. Together they had three children: Brian Staaben, Connie (Staaben) Green and Steve Staaben.

Caroline was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved watching both her late husband and her oldest son perform with their bands and loved dancing to their music. She also enjoyed collecting owl figurines, watching game shows and, of course, watching the Green Bay Packers.

Caroline is survived by her sister Mary Ann Ander, her three children, Brian Staaben, Connie (Mike) Green and Steve (Crystal) Staaben, 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Caroline was preceded in death by her husband Michael Staaben, both of her parents and five of her siblings.
