Chili lovers have spoken, and the winner of the third annual Chili Bowl in Port Washington is Inventor’s Brewpub.

Second place went to Tello’s and third place to Twisted Willow.

The Chili Bowl, sponsored by the Greater Port Washington Kiwanis Club, was held Sunday at nine Port eateries. Those attending were able to sample six of the nine chilies and vote for their favorites.

Every restaurant received votes, said Kiwanis member David Franks, and the vote was close.

The proceeds support the club’s local activities for children and youths, including the Week of the Young Child activities, Possibility Playground, school breakfast programs, Key Club, Badger Boys and Girls and Scouting.
