Bluebird Cafe to be held monthly in Cedarburg

    The Cedarburg Cultural Center will host its Bluebird Cafe open mic nights outside beginning in May.
    The free events, which showcases local talent, are held on the center’s east terrace beginning at 6 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month.
    The parking lot will open and performers can sign up for time slots beginning at 5 p.m.
    The event is open to poets, spoken word performers, comedians, singers, instrumentalists and singer-songwriters. Acts may perform one piece.
    Those attending are asked to bring their own lawn chairs. Carry-in food from local vendors is welcome but not beverages.
    The center will have a bar where beverages may be purchased.
