Beverly Mueller

Beverly Mueller, known to many as “Bev,” a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, at the age of 73.
Bev was born on June 13, 1951, in Iron Mountain, Mich., the daughter of Halger and Clarice (nee Alfredson) Anderson.
As a young child, her family moved from Michigan to Port Washington, Wis. A proud graduate of Port Washington High School, Bev completed her education in 1969 and soon after embarked on a wonderful journey of love and family.
She and her devoted husband Joseph Mueller were united in marriage at St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington on June 26, 1971. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter, adventure and unforgettable memories.
Bev dedicated 37 years of her career to the bookkeeping department at Port Washington State Bank, where she built lasting friendships and served her community with pride.
Her commitment extended beyond her professional life. As a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church in Port Washington, she exemplified faith, kindness and community spirit.
Bev’s passions included traveling to new places, fishing, tending to her beloved flowers and immersing herself in the pages of a good book. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored wholeheartedly. She cherished every moment with her “grand-dogs” and “grand-cats,” treating them as part of the family.
Bev is survived by her husband Joe, her two children, Lora (Tom) Didier and Bradlee (Karl Letsche) Mueller, and her two grandchildren, Owen (fiance Bridget Collins) and Georgia Didier.
Bev is further survived by her two brothers, Richard “Dick” (Betty) Anderson and James “Jim” Anderson, her mother-in-law Ellen (the late Joseph) Mueller, sister-in-law Kristine (Jean) Jaureguiberry, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Halger and Clarice.
A celebration of Bev’s life will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at First Congregational Church, 131 N. Webster St. in Port Washington. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., with a memorial service starting at 5 p.m.
