Belgium Chamber is planning fall events

The Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing a chili cookoff from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.

Chamber Executive Director Tara Williams said she is gathering members to participate. 

The Chamber’s annual awards ceremony, Celebrate Belgium, is slated to be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Memories Ballroom in the Town of Port Washington. Nomination forms are available at the Chamber’s website, www.belgiumareachamber.org. 

“I’m sure everybody could really use some recognition, this year especially,” Williams told the Village Board Monday.

In addition, Belgium shirts and sweatshirts are available for purchase via the Chamber website through Sept. 23.
