Supporters of Port Washington High School girls’ basketball turned out at Harbor Hills Recreation Center in Port Washington on Saturday for the fifth annual Quest for the Net beer and wine tasting fundraiser, which benefits the program. Among those at the event were (from left in photo above) Megan Wicke, Port High girls’ team assistant coaches Tom Rose, Allie Uselding and Adam Prom, head coach Jake Wahl and Becky Wahl. Also enjoying themselves were Loretta and Don Frey (in article right photo) and Jim and Hallie Lindner (in article left photo). Proceeds from the event, which was sponsored by Arnold’s Environmental Services, are used to purchase player uniforms and equipment, fund individual and team development and provide scholarships for female basketball players heading to college.
