Barbara C. “Barb” Anzia

Barbara C. “Barb” Anzia of Belgium passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 83 years old.

Barbara was born on March 15, 1941, in Sheboygan, Wis., to the late Francis and Dorothy (Grosklaus) Gilson.

She graduated from Random Lake High School with the Class of 1959.

She married Gregory Feider on Dec. 20, 1959, and together they had three children, Renee, Rhonda and Rob.

He preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1990.

On July 25, 1992, Barb was united in marriage to Jeffrey “Jeff” Anzia. They spent more than 30 years together.

A woman of strong faith, Barb was an active member of the Christian Mothers and the Belgium Legion Auxiliary, where she found joy in serving her community and supporting those around her.

She enjoyed traveling and creating special memories that her family will cherish for a lifetime. She lit up every time she saw her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sharing in their joys and achievements with unwavering support and encouragement.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Jeff; her children Rhonda (Patrick) Krier and Robert Feider; her stepchildren Frank (Heather) Anzia, Cliff (Julie) Anzia and Matt (Joy) Anzia; grandchildren Stephanie (Matt Gruber), Stacey, Natasha (Travis Stuckel), Vincent and Austin (Kelly); stepgrandchildren Angelina, Alex, Maxx, Jaxxon and John; great-grandchildren Parker, Landon, Aubrey, Kendal, Aliva, Hailey and Logan; her sisters Ruth and Elizabeth; and her brothers James and Thomas; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Gregory Feider, her daughter Renee (Mike) Alexander and her brother William.

A prayer service will take place on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium. The family will greet friends and relatives at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service.

The family would like to thank Aurora at Home Hospice, especially nurses Shelby, Katherine, Marwill, Jill, Matt and Tracy, along with the staff at Cedarburg Health Services, for their care over the last few years.
