Annual Hippity Hoppity egg hunt is postponed

The annual Hippity Hoppity Easter egg hunt and bonnet contest scheduled for Saturday, April 4, has been postponed indefinitely.

The celebration that draws hundreds of children and adults to Port Washington’s Upper Lake Park just before Easter will likely be rescheduled this summer, organizers said.

The event also allows youngsters to travel from business to business in downtown to fill their Easter basket.

This year’s event was scheduled to include live music by Shana Harvey.

The event is sponsored by Port Main Street Inc. and the Greater Port Washington Kiwanis Club.
