Anniversary: Jim and Jennie Greisch

Jim and Jennie Greisch celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a family gathering on Saturday, April 29.
Jim Greisch and Jennie Weiss were high school sweethearts at Port Washington High School who married on May 2, 1953, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Saukville.
They moved to Port Washington, where they lived throughout their married life.
Mr. Greisch owned and operated Greisch Plumbing until he retired. He is also a longtime member of the Port Washington Lions Club.
Mrs. Greisch was a stay-at-home mother who also held a number of part-time jobs.
The couple, who volunteer at Riveredge Nature Center, are longtime members of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church, in Port Washington.
They have five children, the late Jim, Jeff of Port Washington, Jill of Waubeka, Joel of Port Washington and Judy of Slinger.
They also have 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
