Alexander Hamilton to be focus of Sept. 24 library event
The Grafton Public Library will host a presentation on Alexander Hamilton on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the upper-level meeting room.
Historian Jim Gibbons will lead a discussion on the founding father’s skyrocketing in popularity and fame to his sudden downfall due to scandal and, ultimately, his tragic death.
Gibbons has presented programs at libraries, park districts, retirement communities, private venues and schools in Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.
No registration is required for the free event. The library is at 1620 11th Ave.
