24 Hour Show to begin Jan. 28 at the Arts Mill

The 24 Hour Show at the Arts Mill in Grafton will begin on Friday, Jan. 28.
Artists pick up their canvasses between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. that day, then drop off their completed artwork on Saturday, Jan. 29.
The artwork is then put up for auction for 24 days, from Feb. 5 to 28.
The auction opening will be held at the Arts Mill from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 5. At that time, customers may make a buy-it-now bid of $125 and take the artworks home that night.
After the opening, the buy-it-now price will increase to $150 and bids will start at $40.
The artist retains 80% of the sale price.
The rules of the event for the artists are simple — they have 24 hours to create their works, which must be on the canvas picked up at the Arts Mill. Nothing other than paint may be on the sides of the canvas, and pieces must be dry and wired to hang when returned. Saw-tooth hangers are not allowed.
There is a limited number of canvasses, which cost $15 for the first canvas and $10 for each additional submission.
There is be a limited number of canvases available.
