Young scientists present their findings

Seventh and eighth-grade students at St. John XXIII Catholic School in Port Washington spent a lot of time this semester studying how nature works, and earlier this month presented their findings during a science fair at the school. Clockwise from top left: Sawyer Lorier studied bioluminescence. Summer Wille (left) and Sierra Hoeft had Petri dishes and plenty of data to explain how bacteria grows.
