The Yellow Brick Road leads to Random Lake

Dorothy, played by Shannon Knowski of Port Washington, and Toto were front and center as the 52-member cast of Lakeshore Productions Inc.’s 25th musical production, “The Wizard of Oz,” rehearsed Monday for shows this week in the Random Lake High School auditorium. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, and Friday, July 30; at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31; and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1. The cast consists of performers from Sheboygan, Ozaukee and Washington counties, and in addition to Knowski includes Heather Hernandez of Belgium as Aunt Em/Glinda, Bob Deyo of Kewaskum as Uncle Henry, Riley Stout of Random Lake as Zeke/Cowardly Lion, Christian Spaay of Oostburg as Hickory/Tinman, Phil Greve of Saukville as Hunk/Scarecrow, Sharon Quinn of Grafton as Almira Gulch/Wicked Witch of the West and Tyrone Wesley of Sheboygan as Professor Charles Marvel/Wizard of Oz. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $13 for adults and $7 for people high school age and younger. One seat will be left open between family groups. More distancing will be provided in a section of the auditorium where the audience will be seated every other row. Photo by Sam Arendt
