Writing contest entries due April 15
The Friends of the Grafton Library is seeking short stories and memoirs written by Ozaukee County residents for its first writing contest.
The contest is intended to encourage a love of writing while providing a platform for emerging and experienced writers.
Entries may be on any subject of the writer’s choice and may not exceed 1,000 words.
Only one entry is allowed per writer. Authors must be 18 years old and live in the county.
Entries will be judged based on originality, creativity and quality of writing.
The winners will be recognized during a 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, reception at the library and have their work featured on the Friends of the Grafton Library website and Facebook page.
Entries are due by Wednesday, April 15.
