Workshop for business owners to be held on Oct. 25 in Mequon

A workshop for business owners in Ozaukee County will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, at Milwaukee Area Technical College’s North Campus in Mequon.

The session will begin with networking from 7:30 to 8 a.m. and continue with programs from 8 to 9:30 a.m.

The topics include work opportunity tax credits, work-based learning resources, labor market information, grants and funding opportunities, staffing solutions, on-the-job training, pipelines of diverse talent, fidelity bonding, internships and apprenticeships and the Job Center of Wisconsin.

The event is intended for the owners of current and new businesses, small businesses and emerging entrepreneurs.
